Why should my son/daughter come to camp?
A: Maybe they should not. This camp is not for athletes that view basketball as an activity. The vast majority of the athletes that attend are serious about the game and are interested in improving. We do not break up into league teams with standings and trophies. There is nothing wrong with that type of camp, but that is not what we are about. Make sure that you talk it over with your son or daughter, because this camp is not for everyone. (back to top)
Is the camp co-educational?
A: Yes it is. Everyone attends the classroom sessions together, and then we all go to the gym. While in the gym, it is a separate but equal world. For the most part, we do the same drills but the females and males compete against their own gender. We do integrate a few drills and activities, but not many. (back to top)
Is there dorm supervision?
A: Yes, the camp counselors live in the same dorms as the athletes. However, we do not to post counselors at the end of the hall until 4 AM each night. We want mature athletes only. If you do not trust your son or daughter, please do not send them to us. (back to top)
How old does one need to be to attend?
A: You should be at least going into the ninth grade during your next season. Players that are younger than that usually do not understand or enjoy the program. (back to top)
Can you pick me up at the airport?
A: Unfortunately, no. We travel from camp to camp, therefore we cannot provide a shuttle service, although many of the airports already have them. (back to top)
What time is registration and check out?
A: On the first day listed, registration is between 1:00 and 2:30 PM. You can expect to complete all activities a little before noon on the last day. (back to top)
Why don't you run more camps at more locations?
To insure quality control, the two directors, Dave DeVenzio, and Amy DeVenzio attend every camp. We do not depend on others to teach what we deem as intregal to the success of a point guard. Also, we never run camps without at least one day in between sessions. We would not want to cheat anyone of a great experience because we are tired and burned out. We guarentee our best effort at each location. (back to top)

Why do we have classroom sessions?
A: The point guard position is one that takes a lot of intricate thought. The classroom sessions are necessary to fully explain the aspects of the game that we think are crucial. Note taking is mandatory, as we go over far too many things for you to remember off the top of your head. (back to top)
Will we have free time to swim, etc.?
A: No. Our camp is for serious basketball players. We all like to swim and participate in other activities, but not during this time. (back to top)
What should I bring to camp?
A: Normal basketball stuff like shoes, socks, shorts, shirts, and underwear. Extras include linens, an alarm clock, and a basketball. No need to bring a tuxedo or formal gown! You will not need those. (back to top)
